The Christmas Challenge: Decorating with Peppermint

The peppermint takes center stage in our Studio 5 Christmas Challenge. All this week, we’ve challenged some of our favorite contributors to come up with new ways to decorate with those standby items. Doreane Corrin with David’s Floral and Design took us up on that challenge.

PEPPERMINT ORNAMENTS
Place 6 peppermints on a foil lined cookie sheet
Bake at 250 for 10-15 min. Let cool
Spray with a sealant and add a bow
Caution: Ornaments are fragile!

PEPPERMINT CANDY WREATH
Red curling ribbon
Peppermint candies 80-100
All you need to do is to tie the peppermints onto the wire shape using the end of the wrapper and curling ribbon to attach it. Curl the ends of the ribbon for extra fluff!
