(Excuse me Miss but do you have any)
Blue Christmas lights
For my Christmas tree
I want some blue Christmas lights
Just as blue as me
The one I love has set me free
But I still got her memory
Give me blue Christmas lights
For my Christmas tree
(Pardon me but do you have any)
Blue Christmas lights
Blue they’ve gotta be
Blue Christmas lights
For that’s how you left me
Although sweetheart you’re far away
I’ll kiss your picture Christmas Day
Under blue Christmas lights
On my Christmas tree
— Instrumental —
The one I love has set me free
But I still got her memory
Give me blue Christmas lights
For my Christmas tree
I’ll have a blue Christmas
‘Cause you’re not here with me…

as i walk out onto the streets
and see christmas lights
i get too over excited
it’s almost christmas
it’s summmer time
it’s boiling hot
soon i can’t wait til it’s winter
then we don’t have to feel the heat
burn on our skin..
it’s almost christmas
and i’m very excited
as i walk out onto the streets
and see christmas lights
i get too over excited
when i talk about christmas

Love Has Come

Hurry now wake up your eyes,
Time for little ones to see.
Daddy’s got a big surprise
Hiding there beneath the Christmas tree.
How they are like the child in me!
See the wonder in their eyes,
Like a fairytale come true.
One more time I realize
All the love our lives found in You.
Love has come
For the world to know,
As the wisemen knew
Such a long time ago.
And I believe that angels sang
That hope had begun,
When the God of Glory,
Who is full of mercy,
Sent His Son.
If I could have a special dream
Coming true on Christmas morn’,
I would want the world to see
How His Father smiled when Christ was born.
The greatest gift the world has known!
So come on kids, look high and low
For all the toys you’ve dreamed to find,
But I believe you’ll never know
A greater joy than Jesus’ love inside.
(You gotta know!)
(Know!)
Love has come
For the world to know,
As the wisemen knew
Such a long time ago.
And I believe that angels sang
That hope had begun,
When the God of Glory,
Who is full of mercy,
Yes, the God of Glory,
Sent His Son.
(Don’t you know that)
Love has come
For the world to know, (know)
As the wisemen knew
Such a long time ago.
And I believe that angels sang
That hope had begun,
When the God of Glory,
Who is full of mercy,
Yes, the God of Glory,
Sent His Son.
Love has come
For the world to know,
As the wisemen knew
Such a long time ago.
And I believe that angels sang
That hope had begun,
When the God of Glory,
Who is full of mercy,
Yes, the God of Glory,
Sent His Son.
(Don’t you know)
Love has come
For the world to know,
As the wisemen knew
Such a long time ago.
And I believe that angels sang
That hope had begun,
When the God of Glory,
Who is full of mercy,
Yes, the God of Glory,
Sent His Son.
(I can see that)
Love has come
For the world to know,
As the wisemen knew
Such a long time ago.
Christmas to Remember

Twinkling lights
A chill is in the air
And carols everywhere
Close your eyes, it’s almost here
Candles and cards
And favorite movie scenes
The smell of evergreen
As special as it’s always been
And I have a dream or two
Maybe they will come true
CHORUS:
Setting our hopes on a big snow tonight
We’ll wake up to a world of white
It’s gonna be a Christmas to remember
Light up the fire, play some Nat King Cole
Always sentimental and don’t you know that
It’s gonna be a Christmas to remember
I know it’s true
Time doesn’t stand still
Many things can change
But we know some things never will
The memories we share
The songs we always sing
The mystery of life
The hopefulness this season brings
And I have a dream or two
Maybe they will come true
CHORUS
And I have a dream or two
Maybe they will come true
Come true
CHORUS
To remember
A Christmas to remember
To remember

Tears are falling, hearts are breaking
How we need to hear from God
You’ve been promised, we’ve been waiting
Welcome Holy Child
Welcome Holy Child
Hope that you don’t mind our manger
How I wish we would have known
But long awaited Holy Stranger
Make yourself at home
Please make yourself at home
Bring your peace into our violence
Bid our hungry souls be filled
World now breaking Heaven’s silence
Welcome To Our World
Welcome To Our World
Fragile finger sent to heal us
Tender brow prepared for thorn
Tiny heart whose blood will save us
Unto us is born
Unto us is born
So wrap our injured flesh around You
Breathe our air and walk our sod
Rob our sin and make us holy
Perfect Son of God
Perfect Son of God
Welcome To Our World

I am one of those people you mentioned who joined the church because of the influence of this most incredible family. I am so grateful for that. I heard they were Mormons and knew I had to be one someday to marry Donny, but when the opportunity to hear the gospel came in 1977–it startled my parents. A t.v. special called “Family Home Evening” aired that year and I responded to a tract left on our doorstep hoping to get some information about the Osmonds.
Much to my surprise 2 missionaries came to the door. I was 13 years old and stood 5’10″. I don’t think they knew how old I was, and so when I invited them in, my dad wasn’t too thrilled with they idea of these older guys coming to see his young daughter. My dad told them not to return but I whispered to come back while he was at work because I was interested!
They did come back. With my mother standing “guard”, they began to tell me about the church. They once commented to me that I was of believing blood, because I knew everything they told was true. It just rang right with me. My grandfather was of the Church of Christ and about 2 years previous I had asked him “who are Jesus’ parents?” To which he replied “Mary and Joseph.” I said, “No, in heaven, who is Jesus’ Mother and Father?” My grandfather couldn’t answer me and dismissed me completely. I asked the missionaries my question during the 1st discussion, and I think they had me then.
They still didn’t know my age, because by the third visit my mother informed them I should come to a service to see if I like the church family. They sent me to a Relief Society Birthday dinner, which I found to be dreadful. Absolutely no kids, only a few babies that I remember. My report to the missionaries was that I wouldn’t go anymore.
Once they found out my age, I got a phone call from the 70′s group leader asking me to an MIA activity that evening and that his daughter would pick me up. My parents agreed and that night I opened the door to a 5’10″ beautiful 13 yr. old girl with a big wide smile that said “Hi, I’m Pamela Wood–are you ready?” You know that girl became the best friend of my life.
I am 35 years old, a mother of 4 and we are still incredibly close. I did get baptized that year. I became involved in all the activities, went to Especially For Youth at BYU, although I attended a Gentile University near home. I helped to convert a nonmember boy I was dating in Junior College, waited for him while he served a mission to Brazil, later married him in October 1987 in the Los Angeles Temple and am enduring to the end now I guess!
I still write to the Elder that baptized me in 1977, Elder Bill Carpenter from Milwaukee, WI. He was a great teacher.

Norro Wilson – Danny Walls
Silent Night has never sounded any sweeter
And Jingle Bells ring softly in the night
And it’s the season on me to be happy
‘Cause this Christmas you’re here to hold me tight.
The snow is falling just outside my window
And children are having so much fun
If this is what you call a merry Christmas
Well darling, we must be having one.
This is the way I always dreamed it could be
When the kids are seeing it’ll be time for you and me
The presents have been wrapped and every stocking hung
So merry Christmas we must be having one.
So merry Christmas we must be having one…

My amazon six-triggered bride
now searching for a place to hide
still sees the truth quite easily
but shrouds all else in mystery
while madmen in top hats and tails
impale themselves on six-inch nails
and some Arabian also-ran
impersonates a watering can
Some Santa Claus-like face of note
entreats my ears to set afloat
my feeble sick and weary brain
and I am overcome with shame
and hide inside my overcoat
and hurriedly begin to quote
while some Arabian sheikh most grand
impersonates a hot-dog stand
The Red Cross ambulance outside
can only mean that I must hide
’til dusk and finally the night
when I will make a hasty flight
across the sea and far away
to where the weary exiles stay
and some Arabian oil-well
impersonates a padded cell
