May 18, 2009 (to Mom and Dad from Rio Pardo)

Hi Mom,

When we went to use the internet earlier it wasn’t working and now were kind of in a hurry so I don’t have too much time to write.

The transfer went well. It was a little tiring but it was good. My new are is called Rio Pardo. Were in the middle of nowhere. Seriously. Haha! The closest city to us is Santa Cruz do Sul. My area is pretty cool. All the roads are dirt which wont be too fun in the winter cause it snows a ton. Haha but I like the area so far. My companion is Elder Costa and he’s from Petrolina.   He’s a way cool guy and we’re working hard. We taught a ton this last week and found some new people. I think well have some baptisms soon too.

I never found that other memory card so I pretty much lost my whole last transfers pictures. Kinda annoying.  I was pretty upset. Maybe till show up somewhere.

But I think that’s all I have time to write this week. Love you! Sorry this email was so short. Ill be able to write more next week.

Hi Dad!

How as the draft? Did anybody big get traded or change teams? This kid here said his mom told him Cutler got traded or that somebody picked him up. More info would be nice. hahaha

My new area is pretty sweet. I think it will be a little hard to get to learn where everything is but I like the area so far. We have a chapel but it’s only a branch here. There were about 30 people at church Sunday. And nine were our investigators. We’re getting the work here going pretty well. This last week was a good week. I’m pretty tired but it was good.
