Happy Fathers Day!
Sorry its late. Its really weird not being around. I hope you had a good day. And happy birthday next week! The day before I leave. I leave on the 24th pretty early in the morning. And thats my p day so I don’t know if you will hear from me next week. Brayden never e-mailed me this week. Is he ok? Thanks for the package. Hopefully it gets here. It will be nice to have a real camera. If you can get like a card reader or something that would be sweet. Like a USB one.
We went proselyting again this week. Were getting much better so we passed everything out within like 25 minutes. It was sweet. I can teach the four lessons in Portuguese now so that’s way nice. I can’t believe I leave in a week. I’m so excited though. I’m not sure where I’ll be serving first. I’ll have everything next week though. So I’ll let you know. Just so you know, I pray for you every night about that test. Love you!

Hi Mom,
I go out in one week from today. Its soo weird. I’m definitely ready for it though. I can teach all four lessons in Portuguese fairly well so that’s good. I’m a little shakey on the commandments one but that’s just because we barely wrote it. Everything is great though. I’m really excited.
With the package I think if you just put that there are books in it then it won’t get stolen. That’s what one of the Elders did and he got it fine. And put a lot of stickers on it. It should be fine. Send the face wash in a different package though because I think if you say there’s face wash they HAVE to inspect it since its a liquid to make sure its not a bomb. I think its some new law since 911. Could you send some pens? Haha sounds weird but pens are pretty expensive here. Like $2 for even just a sort of good pen. That’s 2 American dollars. Its weird. Maybe some spray n wash too. Haha they don’t have stuff like that here. But anything is fine.
Thanks for looking up my line of authority. There’s a place for it in my journal so I want to write it in there. I’m almost finished in that journal already. Lots of writing. Did you ever write down the stuff when I was set apart? That would be cool to have.
I sleep pretty good actually. Nothing really to stress about so its nice. I haven’t heard anything from Christopher….did he mail something or email?
Could you print some pictures off and actually mail them to me? I don’t have any way to print them and I cant even open them on this computer. Its all in Portuguese and it brings up a really weird window.
Favorite scripture? Um……I don’t know. Haha there are too many. Ill look and get back to you next week.
Yeah I got the mission ties. Amanda emailed me. Nice to hear from her. You can cancel mission ties now cause I leave soon. I only wanted mission ties so I could hear form you sooner but emailing will be faster in the field. So yeah, just email me from now on. And I don’t think they send care packages into the field so I would buy one unless you know for sure. This is the last p day here I have so I wouldn’t be able to get it.
I’m glad Fathers Day was good. Stinks that you were sick though. I hope everything is better now. I love you! Next time you hear from me ill be in Porto Alegre!

1. Song and Prayer
2. Get some music without words that inspires you to think of the Savior. The one I used is Samuel Barbers, “Platoon Theme (Adagio four string)”. (The whole song depicts the Savior’s life in my opinion.)
3. What are the things that can prepare us to be close to the Lord? (Make a list)
a. music
b. prayer
c. studying the scriptures
d. meditation
e. going to church or the temple
f. gospel discussion
4. What are the things that can cause the spirit to leave us?
a. music
b. TV
c. internet
d. friends
e. breaking the word of wisdom
f. reading books that are not appropriate
g. breaking the commandments
h. loudness
5. What is revelation? read scriptures:
D&C 6: 11. And if thou wilt inquire, thou shalt know mysteries which are great and marvelous; therefore thou shalt exercise thy gift, that thou mayest find out mysteries, that thou mayest bring many to the knowledge of the truth, yea, convince them of the error of their ways.
D&C 8:1. ( verily, verily, I say unto you, that assuredly as the Lord liveth, who is your God and your Redeemer, even so surely shall you receive a knowledge of whatsoever things you shall ask in faith, with an honest heart, believing that you shall receive)
2. Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.
3. Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation; behold, this is the spirit by which Moses brought the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground.
D&C 9: 7 Behold, you have not understood; you have supposed that I would give it unto you, when you took no thought save it was to ask me.
8. But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your bmind; then you must cask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall eburn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right.
9. But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong; therefore, you cannot write that which is sacred save it be given you from me.
——————————————————————————–
6. The pictures above are pictures of things you will find in D&C 6,8,9 Separate your family into 2 or 3 groups.
1st Group will read D&C:6, 2nd group, D&C: 8&9 (or 3rd group will read 9)
The groups will try to find the words that match the pictures and write them down.
The group that has the most words will win.
8. Ask family members what they know of Christ, Bear your testimony of him, and when you are through, tell them that through revelation you also can know that he lives. There is a difference between knowing of Him and knowing Him.
What is means to Know Christ
A man passed away and was resurrected and waiting in a room to be interviewed. Another man was ahead of him. The door opened, the man entered, the door closed. The man on the outside could hear the conversation on the other side of the dooor. The interviewer began: I want you to tell me what you know about Jesus Christ. Well, he was born of a virgin in Bethlemhem; the lived thirty-three years, spending the last three in His ministry orgnizing His chruch, choosing His apostles to direct it, giving the gospel to direct our lives. The interviewer stopped him and sid: yes, yes, that’s all true, but I want you to tell me what you know about Jesus Christ. Well, he was tortured and crucified that we might have eternal life. Three days later He was resurrected that we might return to Heavenly Father. Yes, yes, that is true, but I want you to tell me what you know about Jesus Christ. The man, a little perplexed, again began: Well, He restored the Gospel in its fulness to the earth through Joseph Smith, reorgnized His Church, gave us temples wherein we might do work to save our dead. He gave us family prayer and family home evening where we might unite with our families. He gave us the Priesthood to heal the sick and personal ordinances for our salvation and exaltation. The interviewer again stopped him and said: All of what you have said to me is true. The man was then invited to leave the room. After he left the door opened and the second man entered. As he approached the interviewer he fell upon his knees and cried, “My Lord, My God.”

It’s been a while since I’ve had time to post here as I am extremely busy with RankSense. In selling an SEO software suite I answer a lot of technical questions, but, oddly enough, I feel I have become much better at explaining what SEO actually is. As SEO has become more mainstream, and more people are curious about what exactly it means, I think it’s important to find ways to explain SEO in simple terms. That’s exactly what I want to do in this post: simple SEO in terms of goals, strategies, and tactics.

…I can actually teach the 2nd lesson in Protuguese now too. So the restoration and the plan of salvation. Its pretty cool. Things are going good.
I havent had any contact with my mission president yet. I dont know if I will either. The temple is awesome, we get to go once a week so its way nice.
Things are kinda the same here. Nothing really changes much but I get to go proselyting again on friday so that should be fun.
I hope everything is going good at home. Love you!
